3 Reviews of the Aurora 600

This is our upgrade from a one man tent. Its easy to put together and take down. We absolutely love it and won't be replacing it till its broke. Vango tents are used by our other family members so it came highly recommended. Easy to maintain as well with a weatherproof spray and the inner floor can be mopped out if necessary

Bought this second hand, it was a lovely little 'stepping stone' for us. We progressed from a cheapy little tent to the Aurora which we considered a serious tent! It did us proud, we are 2 shorties so pitching was a bit fraught at times, but it was all well worth it once pitched.

We spent 10 days on the west coast of Scotland, where it rained every time we started to cook the tea! The porch on the side came into it's own here and we cooked in many a downpour, it wasn't ideal but the tent protected us from the elements. A small amount of water accumulated at one end of the tent, but that was it. Very spacious bedrooms, we only ever needed one. Central living area ok for 2 people plus table/chairs etc., bit cramped with 2 dogs as well!

Enclosed groundsheet wasn't exactly fully enclosed and the dogs could escape if they wanted to, but they learned to stay in the living area until they were on leads.

All in all a great tent but we just grew out of it! Sold it on for not much less than we paid, which I think shows the all round quality.

We bought this tent second hand around 3 years ago to upgrade from my previous little 3 man dome. It is easy to pitch considering it's size taking around 15-20 minutes total. I have replaced the guy ropes with hi-vis ones and have replaced the pegs with ground anchors. I have also made velcro struts to hold the ventilation channels open. We use one bedroom inner for the two of us to sleep in and leave the other one out so that we have room to sit around a table on less balmy evenings. My only criticism would be that I would like the porch area to have a groundsheet so that we could cook in it when raining. Plenty of space for 2 or 4 people but if you have both inners attached there is very little room for equipment.
