I bought this tent because it was a good price. I have only been camping once so far and had help to get it up but it was reasonably simple with three poles, two large and one smaller for the back. Not sure if we had the poles in correctly or if it was because the campsite was really windy but the back of the tent kept caving in.

The sleeping area is fairly good but it would be tight to fit four, we are only two and it is ideal for two in the bedroom area. The other area is fairly roomy for a couple of chairs and basic cooking/storage.

You can stand upright in the front part which is ideal and the window is good too.

Only other down side was that the guy lines were dark green and not luminous so I had to change those. Also the lamp holder didn't hold the lantern as not strong enough really.

Not sure if I will use it long term, going camping again very soon and so will be able to tell if it caves in again or not.

A new addition to the line-up in 2006 is the Pacific 4 (famous LA barbershop quartet) a conventionally styled family tunnel tent which will comfortably sleep 4-people in the divisible inner and offers a nicely sized 2mx2.8m living area with front and side entrance doors.

Features include a polyester Taffeta PU coated flysheet with 3000mm hydrostatic head and taped seams; a polyethylene living area groundsheet; breathable polyester inner tent; 2 mosquito net double doors; 4 vents holes; 2 large mosquito net windows with roll-up flap; the frame consists of three plastic coated fibreglass poles of 11mm diameter; 2 upright steel porch poles; steel pegs; lamp attachment and storage pockets.
