1 Reviews of the Alana 700

Have had this tent for 2 years now and have never got round to reviewing it.
It is easy enough to pitch now we have the hang of it. The easiest way now seems to be to put the main poles in through the top and cross them over. Then one of us goes inside and pushes upwards while the other raises the poles, first on one side then the other. After that, it's plain sailing to put in the other poles and pin them.
Good points - very large living area especially as we now leave the front pod out. No leaks as yet in 2 years and some heavy rain.
Bad points - the doors don't zip all of the way round which means that when it rains, water comes in. Also, I am sure that a determined dog/fox would be able to push it's way in.
Would I recommend it? Possibly although now we have been camping for a few years, I have more idea what to look for when looking fir a new tent. Doors that zip all the way round being important for our next one.
