4 Reviews of the Oasis 700

We have owned many tents, but this is by far the best.I cannot find one fault with it. I am surprised to hear that some campers are having problems erecting it. The trick is to support the inner tent at the right height.I used a painters roller pole with a soft padding on top and my wife stood inside with the pole extended to just under seven foot.It is then quite easy to fit the poles without bending them.I have put this tent up around six times with no difficulty and I am sixty two years old.It is very spacious tent and I particularly like the bedroom configuration. We use a high queen size airbed and it fit perfectly from the rear of the room to the front. With one divider rolled up this gives three feet each side of the bed and allows us to use small bedside tables. The other compartment is then great for a toilet.I recommend that you seal all seams on the outer tent and you will have no problems with leaks. I cannot recommend this tent highly enough.

Just bought one of these second hand. We're a family of six and so far only put it up for one night just to test it out. It took us just over an hour to put up, but that was mainly because we fiddled around getting the fly sheet lined up just right and had a bit of a problem because it was totally new to us and we had no instructions to follow. We timed taking it down too and it took us just 23 mins to fully packed ! I'm hoping we'll have it up in about 45 mins no problem on just our second attempt. T'was a very windy night and the tent stood up well. Very impressed so far with everything about the tent, especially the size, build quality and attention to detail on the windows and ventilation.
Very shortly it will accompany us to Italy and will be put up and down for four separate nights on our journey there and back ( we're staying in a mobile home once down there). If all goes well and the Mrs decides she likes camping, it will be camping holidays in this tent in future. I'll report back after this, but on first impressions I would definitely recommend this tent.

(Not sure of date since 2nd hand).
I regret buying this tent. On the plus side it is very large and has various clever facilities, but it is not that easy to erect even with three people and we have bent various poles in the process. I don't think it is sufficiently fire retardant and ours also has some minor leaks too. I would also prefer to have the choice of taking down the inner under cover of the flysheet for wet weather situations.

We absolutely love this tent. We wanted one with space to move and stand up in, the sunncamp has both and to spare. Its really well made and will last us a good long time. The amount of windows (and light) is lovely and it also feels secure. We were very comfortable and would recommend this tent to anyone. It was easy to put up even though there was only two of us.
I like that it has sewn in ground sheet and the poles go on the inner tent so once you've got the outer tent on there are no poles visible.
