5 Reviews of the Tepee 500 DL

I love it
I can Just about carry it with a trolley and can put the whole tent up on my own. Its a lot quicker to dry than a bell tent and works well for me and the kids
The sleeping is small but you don't need too much as there is so much room every where else. This is a really good tent if you camp in England for more than a few days at a time as you can really make it comfy and enjoy the space when it rains without feeling cramped

We have owned the tent now for a couple of months and been away a couple of times. Wow what a fantastic tent it is. It's very roomy and airy in the main room. The only downside that I can find is that the bedroom fits very tight to the frame and on our tent it has caused a small whole in the fly net. A top tip.Buy a laser projector from the Internet (approximately £17 off eBay) and at night point it upwards in the main area of the tent at night. Guaranteed to be a big hit!

Went to a car show for 3 nights and took my new tent. There were a few of us there so they all helped me set, so I don't know how easy it is on your own.
Wow I love it, the living area is huge and the porch is brilliant.
We were all woken at 5am by wardens because of a flood alert after torrential rain I had slept right through it and not one drop of water got in. Its well ventilated also.
I have a van so luckily didnt have to squeeze it back into the bag on site, I just put it in the van and dried it and folded it up at home.
All in all a fantastic tent.

We had looked at this tent at our local camping store and immediately fell for the funky yet seemingly useful design. We were looking to replace our tent, and after reading the previous review decided to order one. We took it camping over the June half term, and despite some dreadful weather found the tent to be stable and dry. I have owned many tents and volunteer for a D of E scheme, and I must say that for a large family tent this is the easiest tent to pitch. The living area is lovely with its lofty ceiling, and the integrated front porch is brilliant at keeping rain off the front door. The materials seem top notch, would recommend.

I Fell in love with this as soon as I saw it, I am new to camping I wanted something I could manage to put up easily as I am the only adult. I take 3 of my children, my son who is 12 and myself pitched it and as we are completely new to this were dreading making fools of ourselves .No need its easy to put up …. Not at all heavy and is huge! We have our little one in her travel cot in the main living area and keep the bedroom pod open for safety. . It's been very stable in the wind, I had to make an adjustment to the guide ropes on the porch as it was catching the wind at one point but was fine when I did this (I hadn't thought of the wind direction when I pitched!). We are loving this tent and have taken to camping like a duck to water . I like the fact the hole tent is erected in one go as the ground sheet is fitted and also the bedrooms are attached so go up as soon as the poles are in. 4 poles - one for the front, 2 on the bedrooms and the main middle one but they are not heavy and easily put in place.
