Let's get the elephant out of the room! Both roads leading to Morfa bychan are narrow B roads. I met 2 cars, it's manageable. Locals know the score, they reverse. Basically go in Aberaeron side go out Aberystwyth side, sorted.
The camp site is well posted on the roads in. The views on driving to the site gives you a glimpse of what to expect, breathtaking.
Beautiful well kept site, wardens constantly working. Well kept gardens.
We were on Red kite super pitches & awnings permitted.
Shower blocks dated, but immaculate, new blocks being delayed but on target for next year.
2 washing machines, 1 tumbler ( no charge!) Amazing, never seen this. Large American fridge freezer type to use too.
Heated Swimming pool covered, great in all weathers.
Games room. Nature trail, dog exercise field with agility tyres!
And then there's the access to a stony beach, great for rock pooling. Dogs allowed. Steps down not for the faint hearted, but good handrail.
Few pop up take away vans & ice cream vans various nights. The play park is great fun for the children.
Approx 10 min drive into Aberystwyth, with big stores & independent shops.
If it's a sandy beach you want Newquays a great day out. Lot to do for all ages in the area. Our 9 days have flown by.
Absolute cracking holiday park.
My grandchildren are going to cry leaving here tomorrow!

First time here for nearly 30 years when we were tenting. Now with new two berth singke axle carvan thought we'd re-visit.
The site is very good, clean, well maintained with some beautiful plantings, and the views from the cliff top are stunning.
Staff very friendly and helpful, with a little shop on site for essentials.
Large amount of statics on the site, plus seasonal tourers, but they are separate from the touring pitches which, in our case had very nice hedges around which acted as a bit of a wind break when there was a bit of a blow off the sea.
The covered swimming pool is excellent. The steps down to the shinglebeach are ok, but would not recommend its use by anyone who is a little unsteady on their feet.
The only downside to this site for me is the access. Once you are on the property the road is perfectly suitable, with passing places provided.
However to get there from the main road means negotiating a single track road, which quite narrow and has high banks and hedges in places, for about 2 miles from the main A road.
Coupled with limited passing places I personally found it a bit daunting. We did meet a car head on, on the way in, who kindly reversed about quarter a mile to a gateway where we could just squeeze past.
I would hate to meet up with a tractor and trailer along there. If you are just in a car or motorhome then it is not too much of a problem, but if towing a trailer or caravan you need to practice your reversing skills just in case.

Beautiful site, especially Seaview, toilet and shower block spotless, will definitely come back.
We took our 3 dogs 🐕, love having an exercise patch for them to be let off leads, only downfall was people were taking dogs in there and not cleaning up after them, which was annoying when there's balls for them to play with but couldn't throw because of dog running through other dogs waste, did pick up some other dogs waste when we were there but wasn't great, maybe put a big sigh on gate ?
Other than that we loved it there

This is a beautiful site with great views over the sea and beautiful sunsets.
The site is on the coastal path and we spent a pleasant afternoon walking to Aberystwyth along this. Be warned if you plan on doing this there is a very steep slope down to Aberystwyth.
The site has plenty of picnic tables to enjoy the view and a nice little shop for essentials. Shower facilities are clean and were never busy. The pool was excellent and well maintained. The non electric tent pitches are along the cliff edge in fenced paddocks which gave privacy.
However it was very exposed to the wind which was the biggest problem while we were there as our tent was battered by the wind. We decided to leave a day early as stronger winds and heavy rain were forecast.
Despite this though we enjoyed our time there and would definitely visit again. Although maybe request a pitch away from the cliff next time as pitches away from the cliff were more sheltered.

This is a lovely site with excellent facilities which are kept spotless. Many of the tent pitches are right on the cliff edge (but fenced!) so the views are fantastic. This makes the pitches appear rather exposed, but we had some pretty windy nights and it wasn't a major problem.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, the shop was fairly basic, as you'd expect, but did stock the essentials. A freezer in the laundry room allows blocks to be frozen for your cool box.
The main downside is the mile or two of narrow roads leading to the site. A sign on exiting recommends that caravans and motor caravans leave toward the south but I think it would be good to advise EVERYONE to enter from the north and leave toward the south - before they arrive! Scottish single track roads in my experience are excellent with frequent signed passing places. This is often not the case in Wales.
One matter worth noting is that when booking tickets on-line for the Vale of Rheidol Railway, it is not necessary to have the tickets printed. The site very kindly printed our ticket, but a screen shot of the ticket on my phone was perfectly adequate. That is a very worthwhile excursion, by the way, and the falls at Devil's Bridge are quite spectacular (although a quite demanding walk).

We visited Morfa Bychan for two nights as part of our touring holiday.
What a beautiful site it is, perfectly located with gorgeous views.
We had a lovely sea view plot, with everything you could need including water tap, electric and grey waste drain.
The games room was good especially as we got some bad weather and the pool is amazing.
The whole site is beautiful, well maintained and excellent value for money.
I would definitely recommend this site and we would visit again.
