 Fantastic pub with unrivalled riverside location on the banks of the River Severn, the pub sells about 43 different types of cider, and serves fantastic food. There are several moorings for boats at the pub, and the little campsite at the pub is adorable, with ducks chickens and peacocks roaming the grounds and a play area for children.
The village of Grimley has a small shop and a good restaurant, Worcester, Stourport, Bewdley, Kidderminster are all within striking distance and are towns with the usual refinements (like shops).
The pub garden has plenty of outside seating overlooking the river, but most people line the riverbank and sit on the grass. There is a public footpath running almost all the way along the river from the pub past the weir and the lock, the food is reasonably priced and the drink is cheap, we love it! 9/10.
