Tribfest Festival 2011

Tribfest is the summers biggest tribute music festival in East Yorkshire, probably Europe, now in its 5th year! This year's festival will be held at The Beverley Polo Club, Tickton (Near Beverley) 7 Miles from Hull on the 19th, 20th, and 21st August 2011.

You have seen the sites, been to remote areas, been to coast and countryside, then why not consider this summer a music festival with a twist.

If you could ever bring together current stars and acts from the past on one weekend, then you arrive at the concept of Tribfest. Elton John, Eric Clapton, ABBA, Rolling Stones, U2, Arctic Monkeys, Prodigy and Take That all at the same festival but with the performers all professional tribute acts

Tribfest was created in East Yorkshire back in 2007 when Event Director Ed Faulkner, himself a singer for the Beautiful Couch (Beautiful South) devised the concept of a Glastonbury style music festival which was small, family friendly and performers came from the vast number of tribute acts performing throughout the UK and Europe

The festival has grown in stature over the following years and has won nominations for the best small festival in the country. Tribfest 2011 will be held August 19th-21st at the Beverley Polo Club in East Yorkshire and over the weekend there will be over 20 tribute acts on the main stage with big screen, comedy Marquee new for 2011, silent disco, unsigned marquee and folk marquee and Karaoke marquee and the kidzone to keep young festival goers entertained.

Tribfest this year will break all records in putting on close to a 100 bands/acts over the weekend.

Ed Faulkner Festival Director says Tribfest is growing by the year with 700 festival goers in 2007 we are now looking at selling out the 5,000 capacity with ticket sales up on this time last year by 100%.

We have created a fantastic affordable concept over the last 5 years where families now can attend a music festival without fear of breaking the bank.

The Festival is an affordable event with no rip off prices you get with the bigger Festivals. Enjoy 100 bands playing during the weekend. All food and drink will be reasonably priced.

CAMPING AND CARAVANNING

All weekend tickets will allow you to camp in a tent for an additional £5 per tent. Car Parking for the weekend is £10 whether you are camping or not. Tribfest have allocated an area for camper vans /caravans a fee of £50 is payable, which includes electric hookup and your car parking which you can have alongside your caravan. Plus If you decide to have an electric hook up for your tent add another £30.

VIP CAMPING

All VIP weekend tickets bought must also add £5 fee for camping/parking next to the VIP area.

TOILETS

Yes the wonderful world of festival toilets Tribfest are making sure there will be added toilet / washroom / Shower facilities all areas will be supervised at all times during festival so you can be sure they are kept clean 24/7

TRIBFEST KIDZONE

Tribfest are in the process of putting together an area dedicated to the Kids and have plenty of activities available, with more to be added keep so checking their website.

The site is open from Thursday 18th 2pm onwards (£5 early bird camping ticket required), and we'd recommend getting there on Thursday or Friday to avoid the rush on Saturday, and bag a good pitch!
