Camping couples looking for a quality tent with plenty of

and improved Wichita range.
New for 2013, the Wichita 300 is a three-berth tunnel tent that is simple to
erect and easy to understand. It has tremendous appeal for campers who want
a quick-to-pitch tent with plenty of bedroom space and headroom for
convenient and comfortable touring or a weekend getaways for two.
The large porch area, kept bright and airy by two windows with large vents
above, is large enough to store vital camping gear and provides adequate
shelter if the weather turns. A sewn-in polyethylene groundsheet keeps out
bugs and draughts, and the quality PU-coated polyester outer, with its
3,000mm hydrostatic head, ensures you stay dry.
The Wichita 300 joins the latest updated Wichita tents that proved a hit
with campers on their launch in 2012. The existing range, which comprises
Wichita 400, 500 and Twin, shares the same material specifications and key
design features as the 300, including the ability to pitch outer first or
all in one.
All Wichita tents have a front door panel, while both larger tents also
feature a side door and the Twin the traditional rear door associated with a
vis-à-vis floorplan. The new Aqua Blue lifts the range’s light and well
ventilated interior that enjoys impressive headroom created by the
pre-angled fibreglass poles.
The sleeping area in the 400 and 500 is split into two bedrooms by a zip
divider and sleeps a maximum of four and five respectively. The Twin has two
double bedrooms that sit opposite each other across the central living area.
This vis-à-vis configuration is perfect for that little extra privacy.
Campers are now discovering the benefit of three optional extras that are
rapidly becoming ‘must-have’ accessories. For a start, campers looking for
extra comfort and easy maintenance can invest in optional carpets and
footprints for all Wichita tents. And the addition of a new awning for all
models extends the sheltered living space to cater for longer camping trips
and adds versatility to the overall package. |
