Our Review: What did we think?

This small, but very effective unit uses 4 AA batteries to run and is such a simple idea. Slide in the Varta batteries, connect the relevant connector, and away you go. As soon as you plug in your phone, or whatever it is you are charging, the unit's LEDs light up and show you the state of the batteries and how much has been used, what is left.

We charged a Samsung Galaxy S4 using this, three times from flat to full, and still the LEDS showed two lights of power remaining, indicating, just a third of the available charging power was used!

This is an ideal companion on any camping, caravanning, fishing, hiking trip, and will be so handy to keep your phone, camera, tablet charged up.

I bought a similar device as a back up power pack for our motormover, only to find that even with a 11amh power rating its still not enough power to operate our mover, so its all packed up and waiting to be returned to Argos, we have decided to upgrade the caravan's main leisure battery instead, and have been recommended to a 110amh deep recycling model, which is specially designed to operate motormovers.
