Previously we've reviewed Varta's range of Portable Powerpacks, Torches and Lanterns. This time we've checked out two of their new Professional Line Torches, the 3 Watt LED High Optics Light and the 4 Watt LED High Optics Light

The battery powered LED torches in the new VARTA Professional High Optics range offer optimum performance. On both torches the light beam is adjustable, with a slidable head to control a precision focus system (spot-to-flood), along with an infinitely variable dimming function. Encased in aircraft-grade anodized aluminium, the torches are extremely durable and scratch, water (IPX4) and shock resistant. Other features include a low battery indicator and a lanyard for optimum comfort during use.
The most powerful the 4 Watt 3C (rrp £39.99*) really packs a punch, and offers a vast beam range of up to 220m and a total light output of up to 300 lumens, and is the product to turn to for the most demanding situations when out and about. It requires 3 x High Energy C batteries which give a running time of up to 110 hours!

We love the sleek, smaller 3 Watt High Optics 3AAA (rrp £24.99*) which is ideal for rucksacks, glove compartments and tool boxes, and fits into a pocket when out walking. It has a beam range of up to 141m, a total light output of up to 200 lumens. It runs off three AAA batteries, as the name suggests, which give a running time of up to 26 hours.
