We have just brought a Sunncamp vario and it is as draughty and noisy, after a  windy weekend in North Devon it has to go. So can anyone recommend an easy erect 4 to 5 person tent with a SIG for us newbies please. Thanks Paul

Any particular budget in mind?

Is that 4-5 people in the tent, or are you just after a bit more space for 2 or 3 of you?

The new 2006 vario has a full SIG, however, I gess you want to change the shape/design?

Hi Bunny, the vario is a nice shape if a little big. There are 4 of us 2 adult and 2 children. No budget really just want the right tent for our needs.Just looking at the Sunncamp evo 400, looks just right for our needs and cheap.Has anybody got one?

There is quite a bit on the Sunncamp Evolution, do a search and you will pick up various leaking issues; which may or may not have been resolved. (but it does look a nice tent).

With SIGs in mind, how about an Outwell Montana 4 (might be a little tight on sleeping space), Vango Aurora 600, Wynnster Orion, Kyham/campus Yale or Outdoor Rev Scenic 5, as sold off this site.

There is a thread listing SIG tents, which may help: http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/chatter/display_topic_threads.asp?ForumID=3&TopicID=69419&PagePosition=1&ThreadPage=2&ReturnPage=Search&search=SIG+tents&searchIn=Topic

HELLO PAUL

ive been camping about 4 years now and have had 5 tents and without question (in my opinion) the best 4/5 p tent is the aspen 500 made by vango you can buy them online for £250 plus £15 p&p hope that helps plus very easy to put up .
