Description
This is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site, which accept caravans or motorhomes and usually tents.

Set in a peaceful country location at High Lane Farm in the Lune Valley, Cumbria. Now in the Yorkshire Dales National Park our Caravan & camping site is surrounded by open countryside.
High Lane Farm is a working farm and is situated on the outskirts of the small village of Newbiggin-On-Lune, close to Tebay, Ravenstonedale and Kirkby Stephen. You can just walk, cycle or ride out onto the open fells. Or alternatively visit the local towns and villages and tourist attractions.
We have pitches for tents, motorhomes and caravans, with the option of electric hookup and hardstandings
We have toilets and showers.
We can accommodate horses if you wish to bring them, the bridal ways in the area are endless.
The Lake District and Pennines are within easy reach, making High Lane Farm an ideal location for your caravan or camping holidays.
Nearby Attractions
Just a 5 minute walk away we have Bessy Beck Trout Fishery a Top quality bank fishing for rainbow trout on 3 lakes in a beautiful Cumbrian setting.
2 minutes drive away we have Riverside Golf Course which is a picturesque course in an area of outstanding natural beauty. It enjoys an idyllic setting, nestling under the Howgill fells in the village of Ravenstonedale.
The Settle to Carlisle Railway is England's Most Scenic Railway & can be joined at Kirkby Stephen.
Kirkby Stephen is a traditional market town of historic buildings, cobbled yards, quaint corners and interesting shops, it is surrounded by a landscape of pastoral rural scenery and wild uplands.There is also platform 3 soft play area a favourite with the young ones.

Owner Directions
From the M6: Exit the M6 at Junction 38(Tebay)and follow the A685 EAST towards Brough and Kirkby Stephen for 5.25 miles. As you enter Newbiggin-on-Lune take the 1st Left sign posted Great Asby , Kelleth. Follow the road up the hill go over the cattle grid past bungalow on right hand side, on the bend in the road turn right over another cattle grid and immediate left onto our lane with the site on the left hand side of the lane (approx 0.30 miles from main road)
From the A66: Exit the A66 at Brough and head SOUTHWEST on the A685 towards Kirkby Stephen, a distance of 3 miles. Go through the town and head towards Tebay and the M6 (staying on the A685) approx 5 miles you will see sign po
