Nice quiet site, great views clean shower and toilet.
Would definitely recommend, we have stayed here a few times but usually just 1 night as a stop off on our way south.
This time we decided to stay longer and spend time in the area, we will definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful site. Beautiful grass with a decent hard standing, we needed levelling ramps but not all pitches would.
Sheep in the next field and a small play area with swings etc for young children. Other than that it's just nature. No smells from the farm while we were stopping.
Loads of options for walks from site. We did Smardale bridge and viaduct down a lovely converted railway track and also tackled the Calf, (15 mile) The weather was superb so we were lucky.
We tried both pubs which are a two mile walk, The Black Swan is expensive but the food is to die for. The Kings Head is a bit more normal pub food but still good.
We paid £20 per night for a pitch with EHU and showers & toilets, which were kept clean. There are no shops near by so you'll need to be well stocked with provisions or it's an 8 mile drive to Kirkby Stephen.
We will definitely return to this site.

We had a fabulous few nights at this lovely farm site.
There's only about 5 pitches all facing beautiful sloping grazing land populated with a herd of sheep.
It's so quiet and peaceful, just the sound of the sheep. We didn't use the shower block as we use the facilities in the van.
Would certainly return if back in the area.

With a warm welcome and a lovely view of The Howgills this is a well located site in a quiet less popular area.
We were on our own both nights and on ehu.
Great walks on your doorstep up to wonderful limestone escarpment and along The Coast to Coast but Kirkby Stephen just a few miles away.
The only change needed is an updating of the facilities and then this would be a cracking site.

This is one of the loveliest campsites we have ever stayed at in terms of location, scenery, well maintained pitches, small play area, etc.
However, the toilet/shower facilities let the site down immensely.
(I'm guessing this is reflected in the pitch prices, compared to other similar sites we've stayed at. )
Also, if you don't like farm smells then this is probably not the site for you.

Very peaceful site, the site is basic but adequate. all you hear is the sheep and lambs and during the night owls in the distance,
The site is attached to a working farm, this does not interfere with the site at tall,
Kirby Stephen is a 10minute drive away, beautiful walks and scenery.
Wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The location is beautiful.
Just walk up the road a bit for fantastic views across the hills.
The campsite has all the facilities for campervans or motorhomes.
The showers/toilets are basic.
