Description
This is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site, which accept caravans or motorhomes and usually tents.

The Masons Arms is a picture postcard, grade II listed, thatched pub built of Hamstone in a pretty village just outside of Yeovil.
The campsite is in a large field away from any roads and surrounded by old English hedgerows and grazing paddocks. It is part sloping but there is a flat area at the bottom with hook ups available around the field.
Each pitch is marked out and you are allocated a pitch at time of booking, the minimum size is 8x9m and many are larger. There are also 10 electric hook up points spaced around the field and hard standing areas which mean the site is open all year.
We have a unisex, hamstone shower block with 2 showers, 2 toilets, 3 sinks, wash up area, hairdryer and iron and ironing board. There is a chemical disposal point just outside the shower block and the water point is situated in the hard standing area.
We allow well behaved children and dogs on site but ask that both are kept supervised at all times and dogs are kept on lead apart from when in the off lead enclosed exercise paddock. There is no charge for children under 4 years of age, dogs or for putting up awnings or pup tents.
The pub has a very good reputation for food, having just gained a Rosette from the AA for culinary excellence, with an emphasis on free range, organic and local produce, all freshly prepared by our team of chefs. We also have a wood fired pizza oven producing artisan pizza to eat in or take advantage of our takeaway service for pizza, gourmet burgers and fish and chips. We also have a microbrewery on site producing 6 ales, 3 of them will always be available and 2 are seasonal. If you are on site on a Monday you will be able to watch the brewing process as this is our usual brew day. You can buy our ales in 3 litre bag in box to take back to your pitch!
Nearby Attractions
We are surrounded by many National Trust properties such as Montacute House and there are numerous other properties close by.
You can walk to Ham Hill Country Park within 30 minutes and there are footpaths in every direction directly from the pub.
We are only a 45 minute drive from the stunning Jurassic coast and less than 1 hour from the Quantock Hills or Exmoor. It is an ideal base from which to explore the Somerset countryside and all it has to offer and being only 10 minutes from the A303 you are well placed for all major road routes.
Yeovil has 2 main train stations Pen Mill and Yeovil Junction, and the main bus route passes by the end of the village hourly during peak times. We also have a Nippy bus which stops right in front of the pub and is an 'on demand' service.

Follow signs for Montacute and Odcombe, the pub is situated in Lower Odcombe.If approaching from the A303 take the A3088 towards Yeovil. Turn right after 1/4 mile towards Montacute House, drive through the village and take the 3 rd turning on the right signposted Lower Odcombe, there is a brown Masons Arms tourist sign. The pub is on the left after 1/4 mile. Take care as the village is narrow when cars are parked on the road and the turning into our site can be awkward for large caravans. We will always help guide you in please wait in the road and ring the doorbell for assistance.
