A quiet and tranquil site nestled in beautiful Shaw Gyhll, Simonstone and is surrounded by the magnificent Dales fells in the heart of Upper Wensleydale. A peaceful place away from the main hustle and bustle of the town, yet near enough for visiting.
Our site is a small very well run family site, it is well sheltered, flat grassy and close mown with a few hard standings.
The site is nestled in the hillside and surrounded by some of the most stunning views. We have a lovely stream running through the site, ideal for kids to play in.

Electrical hook ups are rated at 16 amps for caravan and motorhomes. 10 amps for tents.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a a lead at all times on site, but the site is surrounded by plenty of walks.
5 minutes walk to Simonstone Hall for a bar snack, full evening meal or just a drink. Hawes is 2 miles away for shops , pubs etc,
Nearby Attractions
We are situated two miles from the market town of Hawes in Upper Wensleydale and cater for camping, touring caravans and motorhomes.
The site provides an excellent base for walking, touring or exploring Wensleydale, Swaledale and Wharfedale as well as the surrounding Dales.
There are many local attractions, facilities, services and activities nearby such as the Wensleydale Creamery, Hardraw Force water fall, shops, restaurants and pubs. We are within easy walking distance of Simontone Hall (1/4 mile) and The Green Dragon Inn (3/4 mile).
We are 20 miles from the M6 junction 37.
Visit the Wensleydale Creamery home of Wallace and Gromit cheese and the new visitor centre with restaurant, coffee shop.
The Dales Countryside museum and The Hawes Ropemaker.
Gayle Mill a restored 19th century sawmill with demonstration days
