Enjoy a day trip out and discover Bodmin Moor, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), dominated by dramatic granite tors and steeped in Cornish history.
A must do on your visit to Bodmin Moor, is Dozmary Pool. According to legend, King Arthur rowed out to the Lady of the Lake and received the sword Excalibur here. The outflow from Dozmary runs into Colliford Lake, another lake managed by South West Lakes. Take a short drive from Colliford to Cornwalls most famous smugglers inn - Jamaica Inn.
Under one hour`s drive are Fowey and the popular Cornish seaside resort of Newquay. Alternatively, visit the small coastal town of Looe which is only a 25 minute trip from the campsite. Stock up on food and drink, within easy reach of Siblyback Lake are the local towns of Liskeard and Bodmin.
