Woodfrys Farm is a wild-ish, basic campsite in the most scenic of settings. If you want to get back to nature in fantastic surroundings, then this campsite is for you.
Tents and campervans only. Hot showers & Compost toilets. Walks around the lake and crossing the many bridges of the chalk stream. Online booking via www.woodfrysfarm.co.uk
As a member of the Greener Camping Club the ethos behind our campsite is camping in harmony with nature. When you book with us, a £12 membership fee is added to the price of your booking and you will be signed up to become a member of the Greener Camping Club. GCC membership year runs from 1st January to 31st December and gives you access to some of the greenest campsites in the UK. It also includes participation in the `Trees for Life` scheme, whereby a tree is planted at the farm for every member who stays with us! If you join on or after 1st September, your membership is valid until 31st December of the following year. If you`re already a member, just email us your membership card and apply the code GCCM10 to your booking and the membership fee will be deducted.
Suitable for tents, campervans only it is a small seasonal campsite set amongst a beautiful lake, pond and chalk stream - great for family fun. Children must be supervised at all times due to the unfenced water.
There`s two camping area, the water meadow in between the lake and the chalk stream which is suitable for tents only. Then there are two further pitches up on "the Ridge", which is on a raised bank looking over the lake and the Water Meadow. These pitches are suitable for tents or campervans.
Each pitch has a fire pit and a picnic table for you to use. Buy a large tub of logs and lightings for £5.
New onsite shop selling home-grown rare breed meats and other local products.
Well-behaved dogs welcome, but please pick up dog waste, and use a lead near livestock or other groups.
Compost toilets, two hot showers and hot wash-up sinks, drinking water. Freezer for your cool blocks and mobile phone charging lockers.
We`re in the midst of the Cranborne Chase Area of Natural Beauty, which is a Dark Skies Park so bring a torch! Quiet time from 10pm.
We are a working farm, with rare breed chickens, pigs, cattle. Fresh eggs available daily.
