 Woodfrys really is the best campsite we’ve ever stayed at.
Hannah and Liam are the most welcoming hosts and the quiet,
Beautiful site is just amazing -
So well-maintained and clearly a lot of time and effort has been put into making it lovely for guests.
If you’re looking for a peaceful, tranquil camping trip look no further than Woodfrys.

Shhhh! Don’t tell anyone but this is a fantastic little site with some lovely walks.
Both dog and child friendly we had a lovely stay where the granddaughter had her first fishing trip with grandad. Will definitely return.
Toilet and washing up area are extremely clean but unfortunately we didn’t have any hot water so had to wash up in motor home. Amazing sky at night and it was brilliant sat around the camp fire toasting marshmallows, heavenly.
Very friendly site owners and very helpful, thank you for a lovely weekend.
Just a warning that the road down to the site is single track.

So remote (though Shaftesbury is only 2 miles up the road if you require provisions, nightlife).
So tranquil. And such friendly owners.
No shower yet but that is planned. Otherwise I'd have scored 10 for everything.
Pigs and chickens and sheep for the kids to admire.

This campsite is perfect, very quiet, gorgeous lake a lovely owners.
Lovely by the lake with sheep and clean washing up and toilet!
Definitely will come back!
