Blackthorn Campsite
We are located in North Cornwall in the village of Delabole. We are a family run caravan site [ New for 2023]
With 5 hard standing pitches, partially serviced pitches ( water, electric hook up) available all year round
.
There are 2 pubs in the village The Bettle and Chisel Just a 5 minute walk and the Poldark Inn a 10 minute stroll, the local shop and smugglers fish and chip shop also within walking distance.
We are nestled between the popular villages of Port Isaac and Tintagle, which are just a 10 minute drive. The famous harbour village of Boscastle is 4 miles away and the beautiful beach of Polzeth renowned for its large soft sandy beach a huge hit with the surfers is just 8 miles away.
We do have livestock on site therefore well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times whilst on site, there are lots of beautiful countryside footpaths right on the doorstep of blackthorn site.
Regular buses run through Delabole with several bus stops along the high street.
A perfect base for exploring the area.

DIRECTIONS...From the North:
From the A30 heading south after passing Launceston
Take slip road left for A395 and Wadebridge
Heading west - 0.36 miles
At roundabout, take 3rd exit
Heading northwest over the A30 - 0.15 miles
At next roundabout, take 1st exit onto A395
Follow the A395 for approx. 10.5 miles until it meets the A39
Bear left onto A39
Heading southwest - 1.37 miles
Before Camelford turn right onto B3314
Follow the B3314 for approx. 1.5 miles until it meets the B3266
Turn right onto B3266 / Camelford Station, and then immediately turn left onto B3314 for Delabole
Heading west follow B3144 for approx. 2.3 miles, past the windmills
Arrive at Delabole village, continue past the pub ( Bettle and chisel) on your
right down past the garage on your left ( R&M Motors)
Vell lane is directly past the light green painted house on your left continue down the lane passing the industrial estate Blackthorn is just past the cemetery on your left
