Glenmore campsite offers everything you could wish for from a camping holiday - refreshment, relaxation and the outdoor lifestyle. The site offers a unique combination of landscapes and mountainous views with complete forest immersion. And did we mention the direct access to the beaches of Loch Morlich, what more could you want?
The Cairngorms National Park covers a beautiful 4,528km2. Its breath-taking backdrops are dominated by rolling mountains, whilst lochs, heathlands, forests and grassy expanses fill everything in-between, like a natural patchwork thousands of years in the making. Sitting like a pin-point within this incredible park is our Glenmore Campsite.
Tucked neatly between the thousands of ancient pine trees that populate Glenmore Forest Park, this campsite indulges in the Scottish highlands, but it's willing to share.
Facilities on-site include toilets, showers, dishwashing, laundry and more and the 206 pitches are suitable for tents, caravans and motorhomes.
Enter the site and youll be immediately impressed with the surroundings. Dotted throughout the towering trees are open, well-kept sandy pitches. The rugged outdoor feel is still there though, with the option to go for pitches amongst the trees, and the highlands always in sight.
A very short walk through the treeline gives access to the sandy beaches of Loch Morlich, one of this campsites many appeals. From the water's edge enjoy the panoramic views of mountains, forests and waters.
This campsite is 300 metres above sea level, making it a popular destination for skiing in the winter months. Visitors should be prepared for cold conditions and be aware that part of the campsite closes during winter so availability may be more limited.
Please note: All grass with electric pitches for tents are on sand.
