Nice site though starting too look a little worn.

Ideal for families especially with the beach and loch nearby, but being an elderly couple we would have preferred somewhere a little quieter.

Despite instructions on location difficult to find as these were very vague. We had a forest pitch, the size was greatly diminished due to overgrown vegetation so was a tight fit for caravan, car, awning.

There had been a lot of rain but pitch further reduced by extensive mud. Scraped the pitch with all I had which was a dustpan. If site had been maintained it wouldn't have been necessary!

Generally quite shabby and run down. Toilets and showers quite run down as well. Generally all facilities in need of some basic maintenance.

Found the staff polite but off hand, appeared to be about the money rather than customer service.

Plus side, close to beach, lovely forest walks for our two little dogs and peaceful.

Shame site has seen better days

A lovely site close to the beach on Loch Morlich.

Pitches are well spaced out. Facilities are good with the exception of the annoying push button type showers.

Great area for outdoors adventures, We walked the local woodland trails, hired a canoe, went for a Quad bike trip, Climbed a local mountain and went for a cycle trip.

Visited the nature reserve at Loch Garton Osprey centre. Also had superb weather which helped.

We had 4 night on site which cost around £130 inc EHU.

Also ate at the Pine Martin bar / cafe one night which was good though not restaurant quality. The shop at the Pine martin does have some supplies but you really need to stock up elsewhere.

 Glenmore campsite is absolutely beautiful.

You are literally immersed in nature and it’s really peaceful and quiet.

Also the proximity to Loch Morlich makes it even more enjoyable.

There are excellent facilities (ie very clean toilets /showers, laundrette with dryers, washing up area, chemical waste disposal points and drinking water taps).

The staff is really friendly and helpful.

We’ll certainly be back next year

Beautiful location with a very special beach in the mountains. The grass and trees on the site are well kept and very attractive.

The toilets and showers were immaculate and never crowded. As well as all this it was a well monitored and therefore an extremely quiet and peaceful site, which was amazing for such a large site.

Congratulations to all the staff who without exception were very friendly and helpful. Also the bonus of a very nice atmospheric bar.

I shall return.

Decent service. Was only told after we paid that we couldn't use BBQs, would've been good to know before.

Good facilities and everything clean and working.

Campsite itself isn't very exciting, with a lack of trees, but it's a fine campsite.

Great location

After staying at Loch Lomond, this site had a very similar feel (run by the National Parks I think) but the pitch we had in Loch Lomond was pretty tiny and this one was better.

The campsite isn't much to look at but it is location, location, location. Wander through the trees on shady, sandy paths to Loch Morlich which is a real treat. Sandy beach, paddleboarding, swimming, wildlife - I was truly not expecting it to be so beautiful.

There are some nice pitches in the trees that are more spaced out & reminded me of camping in France but we didn't fancy it due to the midges.

Shower blocks were clean and plentiful.

There is a cafe on the beach and one up from the campsite on the same side but neither were open which surprised me when the site was pretty full. May be they only open during school holidays when I cam guessing this site gets really busy.

Fab area with loads of walks - it was a bit too hot for long walks with the dog so we only saw close by.

Would recommend this site and return if in the area.

Beautiful scenery by Loch Morlich and the Cairngorm mountains. Good flat grass pitch and you can choose the pitch if you just have grass ( no hook up).

Clean and warm facilities with plenty of hot water. Site used by all ages, DofE, families etc.

Heavy pollen from the trees when we were there and a few midges early morning. ( take your head net). When the sun came out the midges left.

Will return as there are lots of walks and site is about 15-20 min drive out of Aviemore.

Could do with a few more picnic tables.

This is the most perfect spot for camping.

It's relaxing and peaceful and right on the edge of the beautiful Loch Morlich.

Stunning views and gorgeous beach where you can relax or take advantage of the watersports and cafe.

So many activities close by and lots of walks. Ideal spot!
