Pitton Cross is only a mile from Rhossili Village and its beach, which is often voted The Best Beach in the UK.
There is a large car park, a Pub, a couple of Cafes and a National Trust Shop. In St Marys church there is a memorial to Edgar Evans who was born in the village and went to the South Pole with Scott. The City of Swansea is only 16 miles away where you will find the National Water Front Museum.
Catering for touring caravans, tents and motor homes All pitches are on level ground, which are well spaced around the field edges.
We have a ' no dog free' area and several hard standing for motor homes.
The on site shop, open everyday has groceries, fishing tackle, frozen bait, camping equipment, beach goods. The Gower Kite Shop & Rhossili Gift Shop is also located here.
At the top of the Campsite is the Ladies and Gents showers/toilet block with a Baby room with bath in-between them. There is also a disabled room which was renovated early summer 2016.
There is a four sink dishwashing area and a laundry room with 2 washing machines and 2 tumble dryers.
Next door to the shop is the Visitor Information room with lots of leaflets for local attractions.
In 2012 we totally revamped our play area with new equipment, Including a team swing, slide and benches for parents.
4G/O2 and Vodafone mobile phone coverage.
WiFi - is pay as you go, ask a member of staff for details.
Bus Stop is at site entrance.
Its quiet at Pitton Cross! It's so quiet you can hear the sea a mile away and hear a wide range of bird calls.
See the Milky Way by Star Gazing is a must here at Pitton Cross Caravan Park, one of the darkest spots on Gower.

Nearby Attractions
The scenic coastline is within walking distance from your pitch. Ramsgrove cove is good for rock pooling. Mewslade & Fall Bay for body boarding, buckets & spades and climbing. Rhossili Beach for climbing, surfing, walking, and to see the Helvetia Ship Wreck.
We are located near to the Welsh Coastal Path and there are several beaches a short distance away, plus many great things to see and do in nearby Swansea, including parks and gardens, walks, Swansea Marina and the magnificent Oxwich Castle.

By car leave M4 at J42 along the A483 to Swansea.Follow the A4067 for Mumbles and South Gower,turn right onto the B4436 Mayals Road to South Gower.Following the Road through Kittle,turn right at Pennard church on Vennaway lane heading towards Port Eynon,at the next T junction turn left on to the South Gower road the A4118. Pass through Penmaen, Knelston, where there is a Petrol Station. When you get to Scurlage,turn right onto the B4247 for Rhossili follow for 2 miles and we are on the left Hand Side.
