Shepherds Rest Campsite is based at our family farm near Berwick-upon-Tweed in the picturesque Scottish Borders.
We offer visitors a choice of Glamping in one of our luxury Shepherds Huts or staying on our small campsite for Tents and campervans.
Our small campsite enjoys open views of the farmland and gentle rolling countryside beyond, with large grass tent and campervan pitches. There are also electric hook ups (EHU) available on some of the tent pitches, so you can enjoy some luxury camping.
There is also a dedicated area for Campervans & Motorhomes.
All set in grass meadows, waking up to glorious views with a soundtrack of bird song and farm animals wandering in the fields beyond.
We are open from April-september, allowing you to appreciate the changing seasons.
Your comfort is important, so there are mains shower & toilet cabins (not composting) , along with an ktchen area for washing-up/cooking and secure mobile phone charging lockers.
There is ample parking on site for cars and motorbikes located at the edge of the campsite.
A local bus service operates from just 10mins walk down the road, connecting nearby towns, villages and the main railway station. We are also located close to many cycle and long distance walking routes, so cyclists and walkers are very welcome to stay on site!
Unfortunately we do not accept dogs.
Our location is rather special - nestled in beautiful countryside, with fantastic open views and dark night skies ideal for stargazing. The area is secluded and free from traffic jams and road noise, so you can relax and let the stresses of modern life fall away. Our farm is run non-intensively, so you can enjoy seeing the wildlife and our happy farm animals roaming the fields
