Robin Bebb welcomes you to his new Touring Caravan Park in which he has created a wonderful haven for visitors to escape from their busy lives and get back to the wonders of nature.
The Park is set in the small hamlet of The Newnes, where Robins family have farmed for seven generations, over 150 years. The Newnes dates back to Medieval times and gets its name from when King Edward II is said to have placed some new people on the property formerly occupied by displaced Welsh Rebels. The origin of these people is unknown, but they were referred to as the neow-ones (old English Neowe=new), hence the name Newnes.
Just sit back and enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding countryside or take advantage of the network of footpaths that take you into the heart of the market town of Ellesmere the birthplace of the Llangollen Canal, built by Thomas Telford. Ellesmere is surrounded by circular walks and woodlands and is a nature lovers paradise with its nine glacial meres.
The caravan park offers eight acres of lawned level pitches, also with some hard standings available set in three fields with a choice of views. It has an elevated and sheltered setting giving breath taking views of the surrounding countryside.
Each Caravan Pitch looks out onto the remainder of the 6 Acre Site, which is lawned and level, giving superb views over the beautiful surrounding countryside and the Welsh Hills.
Tents are most welcome and can enjoy the superb views and location. Take advantage of the superb facilities on offer, or just pitch your tent and truly get back to enjoying nature.
A new first class heated toilet block with pan washing facilities and existing showers, toilets and information point with under floor heating that have been awarded a 4 star rating with the National Toilet of the Year Award whose comments were A most delightful little challet toilet block serving the needs of surrounding caravans and campers
An additional new first class heated shower and toilet block with pan washing facilities has just opened in field 3.

The site offers 60 level grass pitches each with electric hook up points plus individual mains water taps. Night lights on each hook up point. Grey Waste Water disposal and Chemical Disposal point are available on the site.

The touring caravan park is set in the midst of North Shropshire , half a mile (10 minute walk) from the Historic Market town of Ellesmere. Known as ‘Shropshires Lake District.
