PROUDLY PRESENTING the new and improved Glenesk Holiday Park which is under new ownership and benefits from a £4 million refurbishment.
Glenesk Caravan Park is situated in an idyllic woodland setting approximately one and a half miles North West of Edzell, where you will find tranquillity and nature in abundance!
The facilities include electric hook-ups on every pitch, a well equipped playpark, coarse fishing at the on-site Loch, heated toilet and shower block and acres of woodland accessible directly by footpath from the park.
We welcome touring caravans, motor-homes and tents and we also have heated camping pods and coming summer 2024 lovely new and modern static caravans for hire (from March/April).
Camping: We have hardstanding pitches for camping with a generous sized area of around 5 wide x 10 long(m) with options for electricity hook up.
Touring: All of our touring pitches are hardstanding, sized at 5 wide x 10 long (m) and come with the option of electricity hook up. There is a chemical waste disposal point and we also have seasonal pitches available at a discounted rate
Camping Pods: Camping pods come in 2 sizes and can accommodate 4 or 5 people. These are wooden structure pods which are fully insulted and come with beds and mattresses - please supply your own bedding. The pods also come with a little fridge, electricity and heating inside.
Inside the newly refurbished Hub, you will find a lovely cafe/restaurant area with a cosy log burner inside for the colder months and a large decking area outside for going to Al Fresco in the hotter months - open to guests of the park and members of the public, stay tuned for the coming updates and menu options. The Owners Health suite hosts a little gym suite overlooking the Loch and a relaxing sauna for escaping those potentially cold Scottish mornings!

Just a mile from Edzell`s famous Blue Door Walk leading onto the Rocks of Solitude which runs along the River Esk - a great spot for Salmon fishing, and just 1.5miles from the ever popular village of Edzell.
Thrill seekers can venture off to Bedlam Paintballing for a day of adrenaline!
For the culture Seekers, head on 8 miles up the road for a taste of how the locals used to live in times gone by - Glenesk Folk Museum which also offers free entry!
Hillwalking, Cycling and Kayaking take your fancy? You`ve come to the right place - we`re located at the foot of the Glens so you can challenge yourself with an abundance of activities around here - head up to Mount Cairn for a truly breathtaking view across some of Bonnie Scotland`s landscape!
Heading North towards Aberdeen exit the A90 after the Brechin sign - look for the Edzell, Fettercairn and Brechin sign which leads onto a roundabout - take the second exit and continue straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the village of Edzell, continue straight through the village High Street going on straight again at the roundabout, when you cross the little bridge you`ll see the Blue Door on your left and we`re the left turn just after that - 1 mile later we are on the right.
