Fernwood Caravan Park is located near Lyneal, south east of Ellesmere in the rural county of Shropshire, full of unspoiled countryside, lakes, woods and breathtaking views.
The spacious touring area is well landscaped and maintained with attractive trees, shrubs and hedges. We can accommodate touring caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents. There is an option of electric hook up on grass, multi service pitches on hard standing or adult only on grass with electric and water hook up. The touring area includes a modern toilet/shower block, a chemical disposal point and a motorhome point.
Holiday Homes are available for purchase with caravan hire also available to sample this delightful setting.
Calor Gas and a range of ice creams can be purchased from the Park Office.
A laundrette with large coin operated washing machines, tumble driers and ironing facilities is situated near the Park Office.
There is a play area for children with swings, baby swings, slide and climbing frame and plenty of open space for recreation.
A heated shower block for both ladies and gentlemen with separate accessibility facilities were newly refurbished in 2021.
The Park also offers 40 acres of woodland for a leisurely stroll and ideal for visitors with dogs.
Our much admired course fishing lake is well stocked with Roach, Rudd, Tench, Mirror and Crucian Carp - to name a few.
Nearby Attractions
Within easy driving distance of Fernwood are the market towns of Ellesmere and Wem.
National Trust properties Chirk Castle, Erddig and Attingham Park are within easy driving distance of the Park.
There are many glorious gardens close by, be they grand, formal, intimate or unusual. Among them, Wollerton Old Hall Garden and Hodnet Hall.
