The Sir Walter Tyrrell is a delightful pub situated in Brook in the New Forest. Many people call it ‘The Gem of the New Forest.
The Sir Walter Tyrrell has approx 2 acres of fields at the rear of the Pub for camping
Nov to Apr inclusive Sun - Thurs £17.50 pn - Fri & Sat £22.50pn May, June, Sept, Oct Sun - Thurs £20.00 pn - Fri & Sat 25.00 pn July, Aug and Bank Holidays Sun -Thurs £22.50 pn - Fri & Sat 27.50 pn Electric hook up available at £7 per night 10% discount off of all pub purchases during stay
Essential items available for purchase from pub eg bread, eggs, milk, bacon, toothpaste, tea bags, toilet paper etc. pre order day before
We have toilet facilities with washbasins within pub during opening hours and earlier in the morning if requested while pub shut to general public, however as yet we have NO SHOWER OR OUTSIDE TOILET facilities. Due to being a site of interest within The New Forest Park we regret that no coal BBQ`s or fire pits or open fires are allowed on site. Pets welcome but Dogs must be kept on leads within campsite, pub and pub gardens

With roaring fire places, traditional home cooked menus and a substantial outdoor play area. The Sir Walter Tyrrell is a must for families to come to.
Fresh food prepared and served daily (food hygiene rating 5*) No bookings required with inside and outside dining. We do take dogs on campsite and in garden areas of pub. Indoor is restricted and no dogs when busy inside.
Nearby Attractions
The New Forest has 93,000 acres of woodland and open common-land brimming with wildlife and is the largest un-enclosed area in Southern England. Ponies, donkeys, cattle, pigs and deer, to name a few, roaming freely.

The Sir Walter Tyrrell is situated in the heart of the New Forest just off the A31 which is the main Southampton to Bournemouth road.
The turning for RUFUS STONE, will bring you right to our door. Alternative route....
Heading west,Come off at Junction 1 of M27, take the third exit to village of Brook, take the first turning left after the Green Dragon Pub. This is signposted to The Sir Walter Tyrrell & Rufus Stone.
