Pitches: 8
Opening Dates next year: 27/05/2025 to 30/09/2025
A quiet and secluded site for families and couples, with a silent-site policy after 10pm, perfect to escape from it all, enjoy a digital detox and recharge the batteries whilst letting the children embrace the outdoors. The environment is at the heart of our site and recycling, renewable energy and sustainable practices are actively embraced.
A small off grid campsite located on a working smallholding just off the A5 on the North Wales and Shropshire border. Each generous pitch offers a campfire pit, covered dining shelter and picnic bench.
All pitches (other than Acorn) have an on-pitch private composting toilet.
Facilities include two showers, mains and composting toilets, car park and a small honesty shop selling logs, milk, eggs, sausages and bacon from the farm, cold drinks and store cupboard essentials.
Dogs are welcome on the main camping field (Squirrel, Sparrow, Badger & Fox pitches) and dog waste bins are provided.
We also offer hire of a campfire cooking kit including tripod, kettle, hanging grill & griddle plate and dutch oven so you are set up to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner over the fire.
Glamping is available in a fully furnished 5m nomadic bell tent with room for four occupants, or new for 2024 will be a Tipi in the school holidays sleeping 5.
A Greener Camping Club site the environment is at the heart of the site`s ethos. You`ll find minimal mowing with long grass abundantly full of butterflies between the pitches which are set well apart offering privacy and peace.
Membership is £12 and join up is available on booking.
Children can say hello to the pigs and goats on the farm. Vehicle access for pitching up and packing down is available but guests are asked to park their car at the car park during their stay to protect the soil and tree routes and avoid disturbing other guests.
