Description
This is a Caravan and Motorhome Club Certificated Location, which accepts just five caravans or motorhomes and is for Club Members only.
Pitches: 5 CAMC Members Only
Opening Dates this year: 01/01/2024 to 31/12/2024
Opening Dates next year: 01/01/2025 to 31/12/2025
Our CL site is in the small village of Chappel which sits on the River Colne. Chappel is famous for its Victorian viaduct which is one of the largest brick built structures in England.
Greenacres location is fantastic! We are close to everything you need but still in the beautiful countryside.
All pitches are nice and sunny but if you fancy some time in the shade you can sit under the large wooden gazebo, enjoying the beautiful scent of a climbing rose.
We have a washing machine, tumble drier and a large area for washing up and preparing food.
Visit our Information Room to look at our local walks, read about our lovely village and gather other useful information. Here you can also check your emails with the free WIFI and take a copy of the Visit Colchester brochure with you.
Let your doggies have a run around in the designated off leash dog area. Then on the way back take a stroll around the wild flower garden, whilst listening to the birds singing.
Rainy day? Check out the football and pool table or try one of the jigsaw puzzles in the Games Room.
The CL field is level and drains nicely and we like to keep the grass short too.

Nearby Attractions
The village has a post office and a general store all within a short walk away. There is a bus stop at the end of the road and also close by is a play area and playing fields.
Chappel and Wakes Colne is a fantastic area to explore on foot. With its undulating countryside including the River Colne, Chalkney Woods and parts of the Essex Way.

Owner Directions
Exit A12, J26 onto the A1124 signed towards Halstead.
After 4 miles enter Chappel village.
Turn right at the small village green (with red post box) then immediately turn right onto Vernons Rd.
We are 400 yards on the right.
One entrance is for the house only, the other is for the CL site. However not to worry, both are clearly signposted.
