Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty come and experience peace and tranquillity on an off grid site with outstanding sea views of the south Cornwall coast.
A simple and uncomplicated site ideal for those looking for relaxation and stunning scenery, the only sounds to break the peace and quiet is the cows or the tractor from our neighbouring farm.
We have 15 pitches in total all of a generous size each having their own fire pit and picnic bench all with views out to sea and across Mounts Bay. We now have 5 smaller pitches just for walkers and cyclists.
A pitch for 2 people Children under 14 £2 extra each night Big kids 15 to 17 £3 extra each night Extra adult £6 extra each night Low season £15 high season £22 which includes a fire pit.
Each pitch has its own fire pit either a stone one built into the ground or an old iron pig trough making a very quirky feature.
Logs and kindling can be bought on site via our little shop or an honesty box.
At the top end of the site is our facilities a separate area with 2 lovely hot showers with toilets, a separate quirky shepherds hut with 2 extra toilets a gents urinals, a semi covered sink and drainer for washing dishes, a rain water tub for washing of those sandy, salty wetsuits, recycling bins and a CDP point for touring caravans.
Holly caravan is our little Glamping touring caravan which is tucked away on her own pitch she has solar lights and 2 USB sockets for that all important charging she sleeps 2 with a cosy double bed made up for your arrival, gas fridge, hob, grill and heater and all your basic cooking utensils, Holly has a small wash room but NO toilet and outside is your own fire pit Holly comes with 1 bag of logs and kindling for your first fire, complimentary Tea, coffee, sugar and milk up on your arrival and sharing all amenities with the campsite. From £45 a night low season and from £65 high season with a one of cleaning cost for your stay off £15
We are an off grid site so No electricity, all lighting is solar or battery powered, therefore light pollution is a minimal so night skies can be truly breath-taking.
So come and unwind bring your four legged friend at no extra cost just a small donation towards a local animal charity for their stay, enjoy the local walks, scenery, peace and tranquillity in a beautiful setting.

Take the A30 towards Penzance then turn left towards Helston on to the A394, follow this road straight on till you come to the village of Ashton you come to a small garage on the right hand side turn right after the garage towards Rinsey, follow the road down it bears round to the left sign posted towards Porthleven follow this road along for a few hundred yards then take the first right just before the white cottage heading towards the sea. Dropped Anchor is half way down the lane with the gate in front of you.
As this lane is narrow and a working farm is at the bottom of the lane could you please ring when you reach Ashton so we can make sure the road is clear from farm traffic and animals. Thankyou
