I'd booked 2 nights at the end of the school holidays for me and my granddaughter but I was unable to go the first night because of illness so my daughter-in-law took my place with the 2 younger children.
The pitches are huge, and the picnic tables and fire pits on each pitch are brilliant.
The 2 shower rooms were fabulous, as were the 2 separate toilets, decorated with quirky details and a lot of love.
Lots of space for kids to run around and play, but no playground, but our pitch was next to a genuine fairy house at the base of a tree.
Situated a 5 minute drive from Praa Sands and close to the coastal path, there's something for everyone wanting a peaceful base to explore this end of Cornwall.
The granddaughter thinks we should book a few pitches for a big family gathering next summer. High praise from a 12 year old!

This is by far the best campsite we have stayed in that doesn’t have hook up and allows open fires( our main criteria).
Debbie was a lovely host and this campsite was a joy to stay in. I have never seen such amazing toilet and shower facilities!
We will definitely be back…with friends and family.
Sea views were stunning and it’s easy to get onto the coastal path to get to the beach or check out the historic coastline spotted with mines.

This is such a lovely site - the location, relaxed feel, lovely owner Debbie and a wonderful view.
The entrance was fine for our motorhome just be careful coming through the gate, and Debbie helped us make sure we didn’t go astray.
There’s no electric on the site but solar lights are dotted around and the adds to the getting away from it feel.
There’s a fire pit on each pitch and we enjoyed a rare night sat outside as the weather has not been summer like at all.
We had a lovely view of the sea and it was a nice walk into Rinsey and on to the coast path.
Toilets are in a cute shepherd hut and there are two showers available.
The set up is really nice with Debbie being so welcoming and friendly, our dog loved the site too and it’s one we'll be back to!

Wow ! An absolutely fantastic site! Nothing is to much trouble for Debbie the owner. She's always on hand to help you in anyway she can.
We stayed with our friends in our motorhomes. There was a large pitch for just us. Each pitch had a firepit. Everything
You need to purchase is in a storage box. With an honesty box. The facilities are the best we've used. Absolutely immaculate! There are 2 toilets and 2 bathrooms( like your own at home) with showers and toilets.
Drop Anchor is about a mile from the beach.
Views of the beach from the site.
Would we stay here again?.
100% absolutely.

We are self contained 2 adult campervan set up and normally wild, but in the height of season we figured this wasn't going to be easy in Cornwall so looked for a small, out of the way site.
The entire process from enquiry, through arrival, the stay and even saying our goodbye was flawless. A good many places could learn a lesson or two in customer care from Debbie.
The pitches are awesome - the fact there is no hook up on site means you can literally be vaguely in your area - and 'your area' is spacious. We could have parked front to back, left to right, diagonally if we fancied it.
Every pitch has a picnic table and fire pit - small camp fires positively encouraged with wood, kindling, marsh mallows and chocolate all available on site at sensible prices.
Facilities were immaculate and although if you timed it 'wrong' there could be a queue for showers there is nothing that could be improved - we'd hate to see it expand and build more of everything.
Very rarely do we ever go back to a site - but we will be going back to this one.

What a lovely site! Stayed for 2 nights during the May heatwave. The board informed us where our pitch was and we received a warm welcome. Spacious pitch and clean facilities.
There is only 1 shower room and 1 separate toilet but the site is small so we never had to queue and booking a shower slot worked well.
A lovely location for walking to Porthleven and Praa Sands and a local pub about 10 minutes away.
What could be better than a seaview and a firepit with marshmallows!

Every now and again you come across delightful people running a delightful campsite and this is one of those.
So much space for each pitch, sea views, starry skies, well kept toilets and showers with thoughtful touches. A quiet and peaceful location.
Thank you Debbie for helping us out with our delivery.
We are well travelled throughout the UK and this is firmly one of our favourite campsites.

Lovely campsite, - arrived at night so didn't see a great deal at the time. Awoke to wonderful views and the sound of ducks.
Not too far to trek down to the beach cove or to the local pub. The owners were really accommodating and helpful.
There is an honesty box with supplies from wood to marshmallows! love this idea! We only stayed a couple of nights unfortunately but will definitely be booking a pitch in the near future, bringing friends. :)
The fact that there are fire pits around the site is a great idea and seals the deal! Our only objective is that there is only one shower on the site and there could be quite a queue in busy periods.
