Within a short walking distance, you will find yourself beside the River Lune and the three ribbed mediaeval arches of Devil's Bridge, linked to the legend in local tales. The picturesque market town of Kirkby Lonsdale is within half a mile and has a fine selection of award-winning tea rooms, restaurants and pubs. Alternatively, stock up the fridge with the local produce from specialist shops within the town. An Enjoy England award-winning Park, we continue to be awarded 5-star status and the highest conservation accolade- GOLD by David Bellamy Awards. This award is made to parks which can demonstrate policies showing active concern for the environment. We strive to protect animal habitats and efficient use of energy and recycling. Onsite we have excellent toilet facilities, including showers. No charge is made for hot water. Straighteners & hair dryers are available for a small charge. The site has a very well stocked shop from essentials, local produce to camping accessories and gifts/toys. Gas is available. A small play park for the children is also on site

From the north exit the M6 at jct 36 and follow the A65 for approximately 6 miles. The entrance to Woodclose can be found past the Devil's bridge turning,up the hill on the left hand side driving 50yards down a country lane taking care as narrow with passing places. From the south exit the M6 at jct 34 and follow the A683 for approximately 14 miles. Turn left onto the A65 and the entrance to Woodclose is immediately on your right-hand side. Woodclose is no more than 0.5 mile from the market town of Kirkby Lonsdale.
