Ashfield Touring Caravan Park & Camping Site is a quiet, friendly, family run camping and caravan site near to York, North Yorkshire.
Our quiet, level 2.5 acre site is set within peaceful rural countryside, yet is only 10 minutes from the centre of York. It as also an ideal location for visiting the national parks, coastal resorts and many other tourist attractions of North Yorkshire, most within an hours drive.
PLEASE NOTE: We have a security height barrier on the drive - Please STOP and check vehicle height if closed.

The wooded site has an abundance of bird and wildlife, and the nearby woods have a herd of deer that can often be seen.
A bus stop for buses to York is within 500m of the site, and there is a Park & Ride about a mile away.
The A64 is a busy road in holidays and sunny weekends with many people visiting the coast - Please ask us for alternative routes to avoid traffic.

Turn off the A64 (York ring road) onto the A1079 signposted to Hull. In 1.5 miles, after the Windmill pub and petrol station, at SECOND signpost to Dunnington, turn left onto Common Road. In about 50 metres turn right into Hagg Lane and the site is on the right hand side in 300 metres.
From Hull
Heading toward York on the A1079 at the FIRST signpost to Dunnington (about 3 miles from York), turn right onto Common Road. In about 50 metres turn right into Hagg Lane and the site is on the right hand side in 300 metres.
