Lovely site on the outskirts to York.
Great showers and Toilets.
15 min walk into Dunnington to shops and pubs if required.
This was our first motorhome trip so the Guy in charge "Darren" was very helpful trying to sort a couple of our issues out.
Very quiet site, has WI-FI good hook ups etc.
Would definitely stay again

My Family and I have been coming to Ashfield since 2016 (my kids were aged 10, 8 and 6 at the first time) and we have just come back from our 6th visit (for our final ever camping trip with the kids) over the Aug bank holiday weekend.
We fell in love with this site from the first time we came. Very welcoming, family & dog friendly. Great wardens. Very clean and tidy campsite, the toilets are immaculate.
Great amenities. Great little park and table tennis etc for the kids. Its nice and quiet (although the main rd can be a bit noisy on a night).
Its close to York park and ride and you have a big retail park, leisure spots and supermarkets within 15 min drive. You have the Enfield air museum practically across the road. Murton park (a great family day out) is 5 mins away.
The village of Dunnington is lovely and picturesque, very clean and tidy, its a nice walk down from the campsite. At the end of the long road there's a huge kids park with big climbing frames etc.
Also local shops, butchers, pub down the road (the pub is very expensive) and you can get local takeaway delivered to the campsite.
It has everything you need for a relaxing camping trip and perfect for us being only 40mins away from home.
We have stayed for 1 night, full weekends and even 8 night stays during summer hols. We loved it each time!
I will always recommend the site and I hope to return in the future when I've purchased a caravan! Thank you.

Super site - spotlessly clean and well organised. The owners were really helpful.
There is a bus stop at the top of the road into York and the park and ride was close by too

What a lovely site the pitches are pristine and the shower toilet facilities are immaculate.
The location is perfect with regular buses to York and Hull outside the site.
The local village is a 20mins walk with a pub bistro costumers and pizzeria.
Also the excellent staff on site definitely worth a visit

Second year coming here and apart from uncontrollable weather it was just as great as last time.
Clean facilities, friendly staff, and close to surrounding places to go see.
Special shout out to the maintenance man who helped with our tent after atrocious winds. Very helpful man and really keeps the place looking fab.
The only reason the facilities one got 9 was there was no tv for the footy, but understood the reasons why.
No footy - would have been all 10's!

We visited Ashfield Touring Park with our young Granddaughters and received a very warm welcome from both the staff and the camping community.
The facilities were excellent and almost underused as always readily available despite the site being full!
Local amenities were great and together with excellent weather we had a really successful trip that we will be inclined to repeat in the not too distant future.

Lovely quiet site, absolutely immaculate.
The toilets and showers Were pristine, nice and warm with music playing.
The dish washing area was also immaculate.
The campsite is small, the way my husband and I like it.
It is set back from the main road so there is no traffic noise.
Lots of wildlife to see, the wild rabbits were seen often.
A short walk takes you to the bus stops to York, Beverley and Hull.
The buses were all on time and arrive every 30 minutes.
Very clean buses. Finally the owner Jennie was wonderful.
So cheery and helpful, just a lovely lady.
