Description
Pitches: 10 vans, 20 tents
Opening Dates next year: 01/04/2025 to 31/10/2025
Lower hill campsite is a family run farm with a range of animals.
We are situated on the Wenlock Edge with panoramic views. The pitches are terraced so everyone can enjoy the outstanding views. Electric is available on most pitches.
FREE wifi is available on most pitches. Free showers & hot water washing-up area
We allow fire pits ( off the ground), and have some available to hire . Logs can be purchased from the on site Honesty shop.
We have 5 fishing pools available exclusively for campers and glampers.
We have a Honesty Shop selling BBQ meats, eggs and many camping supplies, including marshmallows for roasting over the fires. Takeaway Breakfasts are available
The Wrekin Lodge and Kestrel Safari Tent both have exclusive wood fired hot-tubs. They, the Shepherd's hut plus Glamping Pods & Yurts provide a range of accommodation for 2-7.
Seasonal bird and deer watching with the nearby attractions of Ironbridge, Much Wenlock and the Stretton Hills give a wealth of things to do.
Nearby Attractions
We are 8 miles from the world heritage site of Ironbridge.
Only 3 miles from Much Wenlock, home of the modern day Olympics, with an indoor swimming pool and leisure centre.
Ludlow is aprox 15 miles away, famous for its food tourism and festival.
The Severn Valley Steam Railway at Bridgnorth is well worth a visit.
Horse riding is available within a mile.
You can access the National Trust walks from the site, along through the Wenlock Edge, famous for its limestone fossils.

Leave Much Wenlock on the B4371 towards Church Stretton, after 3 miles fork right for Hughley, then
after 1/4 mile turn right down farm drive, sign posted Lower Hill Farm, (yellow salt box at entrance)
