Excellent campsite. Very organised, facilities tidy and clean and everybody I dealt with were friendly and helpful.
Cracking pub The Royal Hill right next door is a must. Staff and locals were lovely.
We booked with friends so had 1 campervan, 1 tent and our motorhome. We were put together in a quiet corner and left to our own devices.
I have to say we didn’t want to leave and will certainly return.

We were looking for a quiet site with decent facilities and this ticked every box.
It’s set on a working farm and the sounds of the animals could be faintly heard but didn’t disturb us.
The shower and washing up facilities were excellent and cleaned regularly.
They were well stocked with soap, hand towels and loo roll and washing up liquid and scourers were supplied in the washing up area.
There was an honesty shop on site which provided everything you might need at a very reasonable price.
Fire pits are available to hire and we spent a few evenings sitting by the fire watching the sunset over the spectacular view.
This is an excellent site, central for all the tourist attractions and extremely well maintained. Add to that the very reasonable price and you can’t go wrong.

We were on one of the row of terraced pitches towards the glamping field on this, our third visit to the lovely Lower Hill campsite. It's a bit more sloping than our 'usual' pitch out in the middle - enough to have to use wedges to get the hob and fridge level - but more convenient for facilities etc.
New features, or just stuff we hadn't noticed before, include the 'pizza hut' in the glamping area with a pizza oven, mini convection oven and freezer; and you can hire fire bowls with grates to cook on. The old firepits made from washing machine drums are still free to use.
The toilets and showers have been lined with wood-effect laminate panelling but are otherwise unchanged, with 3kw Triton showers and a LOT of grass trudged in when it's wet.
This year we did a bit less culture and walking and a lot more eating - cooking local meat over the fire, and the veg generally of much better quality than in London.
The Majestic in Shrewsbury had an excellent bin ends sale going on. With the on-site Wifi being extremely sketchy and the mobile network not much better, we did a lot of reading.
It was another excellent stay and I'd happily go back to Lower Hill tomorrow.

Lovely site with great views over the Shropshire Countryside.
Excellent private bathrooms and a small fishing pond if that's your thing.
Lots of space for tents and campervans but worth taking levellers with you as there are only a limited number of level pitches.
Site is about three miles from Much Wenlock which is a really pretty little town.
Also great for walking with lots of woods and fantastic views from Wenlock Edge.
Would definitely go back again.

Super campsite for 3 of our 4 nights.
Really quiet and clean with plenty of space. Would book again.
Only spoilt by late night noise from children past midnight on last night.
Probably a one off as the rest of the stay was superb.

Great campsite with views. All just as described in the description.
Bathrooms were high end, clean and spacious with electric showers.
Bathroom sanitisers in each toilet and bathroom.
Honesty shop has food and toiletries. Freezers to put your ice blocks in.
Was great to have a picnic bench where we were pitched too.

I cannot put into words how beautiful this place was, the shack was clean, hot tub was heated upon arrival which was very clean and beautifully warm.
Loved all the animals, being a zoo keeper myself all animals were kept in amazing conditions, seeing the little lambs running across the field was so heartwarming.
We used the fire every night, roasted marshmallows whilst listening to the owls hooting away and looking at the stars. I honestly have never felt that relaxed in my entire life.
Rita was very friendly and was sure to make sure everything was okay and up to standards (which it was) we were able to have a late check out where we just lounged in the hot tub all morning.
The price was amazing, definitely worth every single penny and cannot WAIT to come back!

Arrived on site and were greeted by Rita who showed us to our pitch on the and told us where things were.
We were on the main field with great views of the surrounding countryside.
Good covered outdoor washing up area with cleaning spray provided here and in the well kept showers/toilets.
Honesty shop had basics plus local meats (the bacon was delicious). I liked the provision of a wheelbarrow to take things like logs back to the pitch.
