Description
This is a Caravan and Motorhome Club Certificated Location, which accepts just five caravans or motorhomes and is for Club Members only.
Pitches: 5 CAMC Members Only
Opening Dates next year: 25/03/2025 to 03/11/2025
Woodhead Farm caravan site consists of a great CL site, a (New for 2024) Large Shepherd hut (2 people) & 2 holidays cottages (4 & 6 person max) . It is located on a small working farm in the idilic Eden Valley between the Lake District National Park and the outstanding Pennines.
Adults and children are all welcome (no dogs allowed). There are hardstanding pitches with electrical hookups and space for an awning. There is a lovely modern ladies & gents shower/toilet block.
The site is ideally situated behind a small wooded area up the farm lane, within easy reach from junction 41 of the M6. It is prefectly located for exploring the surrounding area with Lake Ullswater only 10 minutes away, Carlisle 15 minutes and Keswick & Kendal 30 minutes. Given its location it is an ideal stopover for breaking up journeys into Scotland. The nearest pub is a mile & half away and the local town of Penrith is only 5 minutes away, which has all the local amenities such as a Cinema, leisure centre with pool, supermarkets, train station and an array of food establishments.

Owner Directions
Exit M6 at Junction 41 signposted Wigton. Leave on the B5305 signposted Wigton. In half a mile, immediately after garage, turn right signed "no through road". In 180 meters turn left through stone pillars. The site to the left at end of drive.
