We used this site as a stopover on the way to Scotland, literally 5 minutes from the motorway.
Difficult access via narrow pillars.
We arrived in the dark but the owner showed us to one of the level hardstanding pitches.
You definitely need a torch.
We didn't use the showers as we left early the next morning but they looked new and clean.
Would happily use this site as a stopover again.

Had a lovely few days away at this site.
It’s lovely and peaceful, only 7 pitches in total.
Toilets and shower block were excellent and everything was very clean.
We will definitely go back.

Easy to find, well located. Pitches level, private and near to shared facilities.
Two units containing a shower and toilet, plenty of hot water, clean and very private.
Highly recommended will be back.
Bit of a Gem, met farmer very friendly, spoke with his wife, did not meet in person, unfortunately lambing season was in full swing, but again very friendly. Score10

Absolutely lovely site! On a farm but near to the farmhouse, all hardstandings with water and electric to each pitch. Quite flat.
We stayed for a week but others were coming for one night either enroute to or from Scotland.
The toilet shower room is the best we've ever seen. For smaller children there is also a small play area. Really friendly owners.
Location wise its just off the motorway - Penrith town was an hour to walk to but just 5 minutes in the car. There are a couple of local pubs nearby - 2/3 minutes by car.
Great for visiting the lake district, and easy connections to go to Scotland by train.

Lovely site with good clean facilities.
Great stop off point for a trip to Scotland but we will be back to spend a few days exploring the Eden valley.
Julie was so friendly.

This is an absolutely wonderful site, superbly equipped with top quality facilities and very well maintained.
There is great attention to detail, and I imagine the washroom facilities aren’t bettered at a small site anywhere.
Owners Julie and Dave are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and their farm provides a peaceful setting.
The site is very close to M6 access, but also to the beautiful surrounding areas - we especially liked the Eden Valley and around Caldbeck.
Top notch site.

Just spent 7 nights at this lovely site. Was pleasantly surprised at how good this site is. The type of site you don't want to tell anybody about in case its to busy when you want to book it. But that would be mean.
The site owners David and Julie are a fantastic couple couldn't be more welcoming. As other reviewers have already commented on the level pitches and excellent clean toilet block with hot showers I second that.
The grass around the hard standings is kept short and tidy also its well situated for touring the lakes as we did every day. Access to the motorway is close by and easy to find. There is a little noise from the motorway but we never got disturbed by it at all.
Also well suited for a stopover either going up or down past Penrith. Not far from Penrith for supplies and there is a Local pub serving really good grub not to far up the road.
Would Like to wish David and Julie every success for the future. Barry, Emma & little Jono.
