A small family run Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site in one of the most beautiful parts of West Wales.
Located just one mile outside the vibrant seaside town of New Quay, our campsite offers a secluded retreat for those with a caravan, motorhome or tent who really want to get away from it all as well as those who want a good base for exploring the area and local beaches.
This is a Certificated Site (CS). We have 5 hard standing pitches for motor homes and touring caravans, all of which have electrical hook-ups, one Gothic Camping Pod for a great glamping experience, and space in our 2 acre field for up to 15 additional tents with a further 7 electrical hookups available.
The site is level and mainly grassy with access to the hard standings via a shale road around the outside of the campsite. Some shelter is available in certain areas of the site.
Each hard standing pitch measures 3m x 6m and has an adjacent grass area of the same size.
Campfires are not allowed unless raised up off the grass ... please ask first !
We have two units on site, one with a shower and separate w.c and an outside washup area, one with a wet room style shower with w.c and another separate w.c. plus an outside washing up area, all with hot and cold water.
During peak periods for campers we also have an extra toilet unit and an excellent porta-shower to cope with any extra demand.
We also have a chemical disposal point (CDP) with ground drain.
2 Drinking water supply taps, one at the entrance and 1 up between hardstand pitches.( please note all cold water taps are straight from the mains).
Freezer and battery charging facilities are available on request.

Nearby Attractions
The site is located just one mile outside New Quay and pleasant 10 minute walk to the local pub (Penrhiwllan Inn) at the end of the lane which serves a large selection of great food. The nearest mini supermarket can be found in New Quay along with an array of newsagents and gift shops plus several pubs, on the seafront Penwig Hotel ,does another good selection of good food over looking the harbour.
The area around the site is all farmland with several footpaths and rights of way for those who enjoy trekking or walking the dog. The coastal path along the cliffs of the Marine Heritage Coastline is only a 10 minute walk away, across two fields.
From there you can ramble up the coast to New Quay and beyond or down the coast to Cwmtydu and beyond!.
This gives access to some of the best unspoilt coastal landscapes in the country with spectacular views, especially the sunsets.
A487 Synod Inn take A486 into New Quay. At speed signs and Penrhiwllan Inn public house turn left. Continue for one mile the site is the first property on left.
A487 Llanarth take the B4342 through Gilfachreda to New Quay, continue up hill, at Penrhiwllan Inn public house on right, turn right, Continue for one mile the site is the first property on left.
Those with caravans or motorhomes are advised to take the route from Synod Inn as the roads through New Quay from Llanarth are very tight and can be busy.
