Situated on the Mid-Wales coast just 2 and a half miles north of Barmouth with magnificent views of Cardigan Bay and the Lleyn Peninsular. Caerddaniel borders on miles of beautiful sandy beach ideal for families with children.
Campers can enjoy the magnificent sunsets across the bay from their tents in a warm and friendly environment, before settling down to a quiet and peaceful evening.
Camping on Caerddaniel is permitted between Easter and September, and we can cater for up to 100 basic camping pitches.
There are 3 basic designated camping areas, one at the top of the Park, which are on a more steeper gradient, and 2 at the bottom, with a gentle slope, all with unrestricted views of the sea from areas within these fields.
Both Basic Camping and Camping with Electrical hook-up pitches require reservations. Please note, camping with electric pitches take a tent with a maximum size 7m x 7m.
There is private access to the beach.
We have a well-stocked self-service shop that supplies all types of goods, and a Take-Away that serves a wide variety of hot and cold foods (March-October).
There is a payphone kiosk, Park Reception to help you with enquiries and distribute leaflets of local attractions, a Launderette, a Childrens Play Area,
The Launderette has Washing Machines and Dryers.
Upper Camping Fields Ladies & Gents Toilet/Shower Area: There are many toilets in this area which is split between the Ladies and Gents Block. There are plenty of shower cubicles for everyone. The Showers are free and are cleaned to the highest standards. There are also wash areas with work surfaces and sinks, and a small Chemical Disposal Unit
Lower Camping Fields Ladies & Gents Toilet/Shower Area: There are toilets in the Portacabin and a separate Portacabin for showers. The toilets and showers are free and are cleaned to the highest standards.
The Childrens Play Area is a great place for the kids to play and meet new and existing friends. There is plenty to do on the regularly inspected equipment, and benches and tables for you to watch and enjoy this enclosed and safe area as a family.
Boat Compound: The Boat Compound is a secured and C.C.T.V monitored area for the storage of Boats and Jet Skis. This facility is available to Holiday Home Owners and people from other Parks who wish to store and launch Watercrafts from Caerddaniel. Launch facilities are available via a slipway to the beach, and we are one of just a few places along this coast that can offer this facility.
The Norbar Inn is only a short walk away. It has a good restaurant, childrens room and some evening entertainment.
