Daphne's Orchard is a peaceful, relaxing retreat, small but beautiful. We are an adult only retreat for 30 and overs.
Pitch your own tent, caravan or motorhome near to excellent facilities and a wildlife filled pond. There are a number of excellent hardstanding and grass pitches with some electric hook-ups, on a spacious field.
It's walking distance from a rural Derbyshire village
Open year round.
Site facilities include luxury toilets and showers, which have been recently upgraded.
People have stayed at Daphne's Orchard for a few years now, and many return year after year!
The site is found at one end of a quiet village with thatched cottages and a welcoming village pub. It's a place to experience country life and a great location if you'd like to go off and explore.
The pond is a focal point of the orchard with its abundance of wildlife, and if you sit very still, you might even see kingfishers.
Nearby Attractions
You'll be just three quarters of a mile from Castle Donington with its many shops, bars and restaurants.
The cosy village pub is a three minute walk away.

Owner Directions
Take junction 24 of the M1 and then turn onto the A50. Take the turning for Castle Donington and then the first turning off the island for Hemington. Follow the road through the village and you'll see the Jolly Sailor pub on the right. Follow the road round to the small village green carry on up the hill and the site is the first turning on the left.
