A luxury campsite in the centre of an ancient Welsh woodland. Digs in the Wig is made up of a 25 acre woodland along the perimeter of a Pembrokeshire family run farm.
Nestled in the heart of the county, the farm sits in the shadow of the Preseli Hills with the beautiful Pembrokeshire coastline just a short drive away- the perfect springboard for your Pembrokeshire camping getaway.
Situated on a peaceful, secluded site nestled in the heart of Pembrokeshire within easy reach of stunning beaches and the national parks.
The site is nicely secluded being set back from the road and criss crossed with fox-glove lined paths.
It`s peaceful too...numbers are kept deliberately small and pitches are far enough apart to be private (but close enough if you fancy socialising).
Our luxurious indoor heated pool is exactly what you need at the end of a long day exploring Pembrokeshire. Start your day with a quick dip or have a rainy day activity with the family, the choice is yours.
There are just seven camping pitches in total (for tents and small campervans) at Digs in the Wig campsite, each in a private clearing with its own campfire pit and stack of free firewood.
There are private eco loos and kitchens for each pitch, communal fridge-freezers and washing machine and also a cosy chill-out `hwb` if you want to be a bit more sociable.
1 pitch= £250 for the week (4 people) . Extras adults =£10 per night under 18= £8 per night under 10= £5 per night
Minimum 2 night stay £40 per night for a pitch Minimum 4 night stay in school holidays
There are two pubs within a five minute drive, including The Globe Inn and The Cross Inn.
Nearby Attractions
Digs is two miles from Maenclochog, where theres a newsagents, cafe and petrol station.
Slightly further are the towns of Narberth and Haverfordwest which will have just about anything you would need for your stay.
A quick, ten minute scenic drive from the farm and you arrive in the wild and rugged Preseli Hills. Steeped in ancient history, the wild moorland is definitely worth a visit to have panoramic views of the county.
Digs lends itself to those who want a peaceful camping experience and, of course, to those hoping to explore the stunning Preseli Hills.
Whatever type of adventure you`re after, there`s something for everyone.
