The Homestead With 6 acres of camping grounds and 2 acres of woodland set within West Parley village. The Homestead offers an abundance of flowering plants, mature oak trees and local birds and wildlife. This makes the perfect holiday backdrop for visitors about to experience the beauty of Dorset at first hand.
We are in a great location that provides access to many local shops that are within easy reach. With a nearby bus service to Bournemouth and surrounding areas.
Pitches are set within six acres of flat camping grounds and two acres of charming woodland, where you can catch up with friends and family away from the distractions of modern life.
All grass pitches offer 16-Amp electric and there is a hardstanding parking area in the centre of the campsite to suit caravans and motorhomes, perfect for the winter.
Rallies are also very welcome with a total of three acres set aside to offer plenty of space.
Site facilities include well kept showers and toilets, access to fresh water and a recycling area.
There are great restaurants and pubs within walking distance, along with nearby attractions such as Adventure wonderland, South coast karting, and Bournemouth aviation museum are only minutes away. You can explore the All Saints Church built in the 12th century in place of the previous Saxon Church that figures in the Domesday Book (1086).
Wherever pitch you will have the countryside on your doorstep, you'll find you are more than comfortable having a relaxing time in green surroundings and a friendly atmosphere.
So you will have the benefits of a rural setting whilst having easy access to the New Forest national park. Bournemouth Poole Wimborne and Christchurch are nearby.
The Homestead is a family run campsite, we will all work together to make each and every holiday as special and enjoyable as possible whether staying here at the Homestead or your purchase of a new motorhome or Caravan we are here to help.
Nearby Attractions
The Curlew Pub has had a varied and interesting history. The building was constructed in the 1800s and served as a farm mostly producing root vegetables. After gaining its license, the building became Mulligans fish restaurant.
The Owls Nest home of great food and the finest real ale
