Our beach-front park is ideally set in one of the most outstanding areas of natural beauty on Scotlands west coast. We have holiday caravans for hire and pitches for touring caravans, motor-homes and tents.
The area abounds in wildlife with otters and dolphins being spotted regularly from the park.
There are lots of local walks either for the energetic or for the more casual stroller.
Many visitors return each year because of the relaxing atmosphere and peacefulness.
Overlooking Gruinard Bay, there are magnificent views of mountains and islands and some of the sunsets are superb.
Swimming pools and museums are within easy reach as are shops of all descriptions (even supermarkets!)and our local hotel provides bar meals and take-aways.
Our village shop has a good range of products as well as being the post office and filling station.
A surfaced access road within the Park leads to grass and hard standing pitches for touring caravans and motor-homes, the majority of which are on the seafront. The camping areas are separate and each camping pitch has fencing which provides more privacy and shelter.
We have separate toilets and showers for men and women, which are free for guests, washing-up sinks with hot water and a chemical toilet disposal point. Electric hook-up points for Tourer Units and water taps are to be found throughout the Park. Laundry facilities for large loads are available for a fee.
We have five holiday caravans for hire, all of which are situated on the sea-front. They are fully equipped and all have full-sized gas cookers, refrigerators, showers, toilets and gas fires
A small burn runs along by the Park, this may be fished, although we ask that any trout caught are put back to help increase the stocks of trout and sea-trout which use the burn.

CHECK IN FROM 13.00hrs CHECK OUT BY 11.00hrs and advanced notice is required if you plan to arrive after 19.00hrs.
We are a listed site which runs along the North Coast 500 route. With more than 500 miles of the best the North Highlands has to offer, the route way runs to and from Inverness, venturing round the capital of the Highlands, up the West Coast and back via the rugged North Coast. It surely has to be one of the best ways to tour our beautiful countryside.
Nearby Attractions
The ruins of the Chapel of the Sand (said to have been built by St Columba) is adjacent to the Park.
The Russian Arctic Convoy Museum run by volunteers is a mile away while 8 miles away are the famous Scottish National Trust gardens at Inverewe. Near the gardens is the local indoor swimming pool whilst at Gailoch is a fascinating museum permanently open during the summer.
There are art galleries, a perfume factory & cafe, fishing trips, whale & dolphin spotting cruises and a whole host of other attractions close by.
Small markets are held on a weekly basis and feature local produce, baking, crafts, art work, antiques and a range of other interesting items on which to spend your money!

Our Park is located in the village of Laide on the right-hand side of the A832 main coast road from Braemore Junction to Gairloch. Approaching from the north (which is the recommended route for caravans) the Park is about 29 miles from Braemore Junction which is itself on the A835(T) Inverness to Ullapool road. Leave Inverness on A9(T); take 2nd exit at Tore r`abt to A835; at next r`abt (Maryburgh) take 2nd exit to Ullapool. Pass through Contin & Garve and continue 20 miles to Braemore Junction. Turn left on to A832 and reach Laide 29 miles later.
