 We’ve stayed at a few campsites doing the NC500 all were good but this was the best.
An amazing view, very clean, very peaceful and a lovely welcome

A lovely small site right on the shore of Gruinard Bay.
Of the sites we stayed in there were the best toilet/shower facilities on the NC500,
Thoroughly recommended.

Quiet, small site right by the beach.
The toilets and showers are very new and sparkling clean.
It was good to have a washing up sink and laundry facility too.
We very much enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic site. Great views of the bay where we saw an amazing array of wildlife. Sea eagles, a golden eagle, otters, seals, divers. It was brilliant!
The owner was friendly and helpful.
Facilities were modern and absolutely spotless.
A shame no pub/restaurant open.

Lovely site very clean all the amenities you need
The restaurant has fabulous breakfast and evening Meals to eat in or take away
The haddock fish supper was amazing

This is an amazing wee site,
The showers and toilets are brand new,
10/10 and the views are fantastic,
The owner is so warm and friendly and so accommodating, she is lovely,
A wee shop just 5 mins up the road for what you need,
Couldn’t fault this wee gem,
Great find and hopefully be back sometime in the future,

Greeted with a warm welcome, on arrival, by Lorraine on what was a rather windy & wet day. We had pitch # 8 which offered some great views out over the bay.
When the sun came back out, what beautiful surroundings and everywhere you looked there was something different. We were amazed by it all!
Facilities were always clean and tidy and never messy as was the campsite itself, that was always well kept and not once was there any litter.
Would we return, yes, would we recommend Gruinard Bay, yes without a doubt!
The surrounding area was also nice and some great beaches within a short driving distance. We chose to walk around Laide, walking up to the fishing station and back.
The ruins of the church was next door and was looked after. I sat and thought about lost family and friends, thinking about those buried there in a nice location.

Absolutely beautiful part of the country right on the beach. You will love the views and find it hard not to catch a few seals on the beach or playing in the water.
The showers and toilets have obviously been refurbished recently, bonus no timer or stupid push showers.
Very helpful checking and staff
Gets a 10 for location and 10 for facilities.
We went for a meal at the ocean view restaurant lovely food and service.
