Our CL caravan site with electric hook up, hard standings and water offers an enjoyable and peaceful stay. We hope you find all information you need to be assured that Broadgate is a great option for your Lancashire break.
Broadgate Farm has been run by the Clark family for 4 generations since 1923. We are a working farm which originally formed part of the Bleasdale Estate in the heart of the Trough of Bowland.
Altogether we farm over 300 acres of managed inland, which besides it's natural beauty is also home to much wildlife, including large populations of wading birds, including Lapwings, Curlews, Redshanks and Snipe. Visit our bird hide on site then continue to Cobble Hey and Landskill to complete a circluar walk and visit 2 more bird hides and enjoy the panoramic views of the area. Or simply sit but the stream on one of the picnic tables and enjoy the surroundings.
Broadgate Farm is ideal for walking and cycling holidays and perfectly located for touring the local area.
We have a lot to offer and look forward to sharing the natural beauty we take for granted with our guests. It is the ideal place to stay for peace and quiet yet only a short drive to Garstang, Preston, Lancaster, Clitheroe, Skipton and The Lake District.
The Forest of Bowland web site offers details of many more footpaths and attractions in the area.
Ps: Caravan Club Members Only. Booking required
Nearby Attractions
Broadgate Farm is situated on the edge of The Bowland Area, we are surrounded by panoramic views of the local hills and fells, to the south we have Beacon Fell, then the hills surrounding us are Parlick, Fairsnape, and Hazelhurst. From the front bedroom windows of the farmhouse we can also see Geoffrey Hill, Preston and on clear days the Welsh hills in the distance. Broadgate consists of generally farm land which is criss-crossed with stone walls and footpaths.
The hill situated immediately to the south of Broadgate Farm is Beacon Fell which has open aspects to all the local areas from the many walks available. It is also within easy walking distance from Broadgate Farm.
