Situated at Holt Heath on the banks of the River Severn this busy family run holiday park offers a place to relax and enjoy the countryside.
There are three camping fields for caravans, tents, and camper vans, and, if you would like to own your own holiday getaway, there is a further field which holds 56 privately owned static caravans.
The fields surround two picturesque fishing lakes and skirt the banks of the River Severn this is the ideal place for a fishing holiday.
On site there is a shower and toilet block, gas is available and there is an Elsan point.
There are now 60 pitches with electric hook up available and early booking is advisable should you require one of these pitches.
The Wharf Inn situated on the banks of the River Severn with excellent riverside views is located at the bottom of the park hot food is available with outside seating and play area.
Within a couple of minutes walk of the park there is also a well stocked shop and off licence which also provides takeaway food in the evenings.
With two fishing pools and a stretch of the riverbank on the River Severn there is plenty of fishing for everyone.
If fishing is not your idea of fun then there are plenty of places to spend your days. The city of Worcester is just 6 miles away with museums such as the Tudor House Museum, Worcester Racecourse, and the Cathedral as well as lots of quirky shops.
If you prefer to stay a little closer Ombersley is just a mile away with Ombersley Golf Club for those who like to relax with a round of golf.
If you wander further afield then you can visit West Midlands Safari Park, the historic town of Bewdley, the Severn Valley Railway, the Cotswolds, the Wyre Forest, Kidderminster Carpet Museum, the Black Country Living Museum and much more.
All in all The Wharf Caravan Park and Fisheries is a great base from which to explore the Midlands.
