Description
This is a Caravan and Motorhome Club Certificated Location, which accepts just five caravans or motorhomes and is for Club Members only.
This is an adults only site

We are a small CL Adults Only CAMC site in a quiet location in the middle of the Suffolk Countryside. We are within easy reach of a number of National Trust Properties, Lavenham being the nearest and the market town of Bury St Edmunds. The Suffolk and Essex coast are approximately one hour away, while driving there you can enjoy the lovely countryside, architecture and heritage of Suffolk.
We have no immediate neighbours other than the lovely open countryside and wildlife. The site is at least an acre with a number of electric hook ups allowing you to choose your own pitches. There is also plenty of hard standing available.
Our facilities include a toilet and shower block, which can facilitate a wheel chair.
DOGS are welcome and there are plenty of walks from the farm and the neighbouring area. The Suffolk countryside is appealing to the walkers and cyclists as it is reasonably flat, but not too flat to be uninteresting.
We also have B & B in the main house, a moated Listed Farmhouse, so you can bring your non caravanning friends or family to enjoy a holiday together.
We welcome visitors ALL YEAR round.

DIRECTIONS FROM A14 OR SUDBURY
FROM A14 and Stowmarket, follow signs for the B1115 to Sudbury. After about 6 miles you come to the HITCHAM village sign and in a further one mile, take the first turning to the right, signposted Brettenham and Bury St Edmunds. After approx 1/2 mile turn right at the small cross roads and then right again after 500 yards to the CL sign.
ARRIVAL AT STANSTEAD FARM Continue down the Farm Drive for about 400 yards and pass through the five bar gate. Passing the pond on your right, follow round the farm barns and the camping pitches will be on your right hand side. Please pitch and owner will call.
