Bank House Farm is set on the same site as our Equestrian Centre in the village of Little Salkeld in the heart of the Eden Valley, we are directly on the c2c route at the bottom of the pennines before the big climb's up Hartside pass, 1.1 miles away from Langwathby and 6.5 miles from Penrith Junction 40 of the M6 A short Drive from us is Ullswater, Keswick, Grasmere and Ambleside the heart of the Lake District.
Camping is available in our orchard overlooking Sunny Gill Beck and the rolling hills close to the shower block with pot washing, toilet and shower facilities all in one place camping starts from £10 per person depending on the size of your group. (this includes free use of the shower block.) Family's and Dogs Welcome.
We have 4 large static caravans overlooking sunny Gill Beck and the rolling hills which we use for Self Catering.
These caravans are very spacious and perfect for large groups we can accommodate very large groups of up to 32 doing the c2c (more if camping) each caravan can hold up to 8 people. Whether you want one night or to use us as a base for your whole trip, a warm friendly welcome awaits you.

Local food available from pubs, cafe, post office, village shop / off licence at Langwathby 1.5miles away. (This is the village before us on the c2c route) also take away food, home delivery service available from Penrith.

Long Meg and her Daughters.
One of the finest stone circles in the North of England, the circle has a diameter of about 350 feet, the second biggest in the country. Long Meg is the tallest of the 69 stones, about 12 feet high, with three mysterious symbols, its four corners facing the points of the compass and standing some 60 feet outside the circle.
